The Beautiful Beaches and Resorts in the Philippines. Bellarocca in Marinduque, Whale encounter at Oslob Cebu. Away from the beach, beating the summer heat, we chose 2 of the Summer Capitals of the Philippines North and South. Baguio City and Tagaytay City. Internationally, We chose of course thecity of love--Paris, France and Cherry blossom, Mt. Fuji sightseeing at Japan.
So what's on your list? :) Wherever it may be, make sure to enjoy and have lotsa lotsa fun :)

Recipe Love: Summer Salad

Hello there girls!

Summer is here! What other recipes can we do on summer besides making an ice cold drink?

We want to share this Summer Salad Recipe we saw from FiestaFarms.

Layered Cornbread and Turkey Salad!

Layered Cornbread and Turkey Salad

Ingredients:
1 (6 ounces) package buttermilk cornbread mix
1 (12 ounces) bottle Parmesan-peppercorn dressing
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 (9 ounces) package romaine lettuce, shredded
2 1/2 cups chopped smoked turkey (3/4 pounds) * or you can use chicken
2 Large Yellow Bell Peppers, chopped
2 Large tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1 Red onion, chopped
1 cup Diced celery (about 3 celery ribs)
2 cups (8 ounces) Shredded Swiss Cheese
10 Bacon Slices, cooked and crumbled
2 Green Onions, Sliced

Preparation:

1. Prepare cornbread according to package directions; cool and crumble. Set aside.
2. Stir together dressing, mayonnaise, and buttermilk until blended.
3. Layer crumbled cornbread, shredded lettuce, and next 7 ingredients evenly into 6 (3- to 4-cup) glass containers; spoon half of dressing mixture evenly over tops. Cover and chill at least 3 hours or up to 24 hours. Sprinkle with green onions just before serving. Serve with remaining half of dressing mixture on the side.
4. Note: For testing purposes only, we used Martha White Buttermilk Cornbread Mix and Girard's Parmesan-Peppercorn Dressing. We used 3-cup marquis-shaped canning jars with lid and screw ring.
5. To make 1 large salad: Layer half each of crumbled cornbread, shredded lettuce, and next 7 ingredients in a large glass bowl; spoon half of dressing mixture evenly over top. Repeat layers ending with dressing mixture. Cover and chill at least 8 hours or up to 24 hours. Sprinkle top with green onions just before serving. Prep: 45 min., Chill: 8 hrs.
6. Layered Southwest Cornbread-and-Turkey Salad: Substitute 1 (6-ounce) package Mexican cornbread mix for 1 (6-ounce) package buttermilk cornbread mix; 1 (16-ounce) bottle buttermilk-Ranch dressing for Parmesan-peppercorn dressing; 1 (8-ounce) package finely shredded Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses with jalapeño peppers for shredded Swiss cheese; and 1 (11-ounce) can sweet whole kernel corn, drained, and 1 (15-ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained, for yellow bell peppers. Prepare recipe as directed, omitting mayonnaise.

Recipe Love: Raspberry Lemonade

Get ready for summer! Beat the heat with a cold tasty lemonade drink. Grab your mugs and try this out. Raspberry Lemonade by the Food Network.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup frozen raspberries
4 lemons
3/4 cup sugar
6 ounces raspberry or citrus vodka, divided, optional


How to do it:

Reserve 4 raspberries and cut off 4 slices of lemon for the garnish. Mash the raspberries and sugar in a small bowl and let sit at room temperature to thaw and bring out their juices, about 15 minutes. Set a sieve over a pitcher and juice the lemons. Rinse the sieve and add the raspberries. Push the raspberry mixture through the sieve with a rubber spatula, leaving the seeds in the sieve. Pour 1 quart of cold water through the sieve to get remove the remaining juices. Stir the lemonade and check for sweetness. Serve in ice-filled glasses and garnish with raspberry and a lemon slice. For the adults, add 1 1/2 ounces vodka to each glass.

Summer Inspiration

❤ Ichigo's Summer Inspiration ❤ 

Ichigo girl wakes up to fix her pretty room and takes her time to bathe on her pink tub. She rides her pink bicycle with basket, picks those beautiful flowers, takes out her pink stripes umbrella, wears her favorite gold and coral necklace and lacey hat. She walks around the park and looks for a ferris wheel, she rode and had fun. Summer afternoon, She changes to her swim wear and takes a plunge on the pool after a generous bite of her favorite macaroons. Then, she waits for the sunset , puts on her sundress and will have fun on a summer night with those pastel lanterns lit up to dance the night away.
