DIY: Cupcake Flower Lights

Let's have fun!

Here's a cute and fun activity we can share to you girls. Our love for flower is undeniable, and we came across this blog by oh happy day.com with this pretty cupcake flower lights. Come and join us as we do this indoor Flower Lights :)

Here's what you'll need:

Cupcake Papers (Small and Large)

String Lights

Pair of Scissors

Cutter

Step 1:  To make leaves – fold a small cupcake paper in half 2 times, and with the folded point at the bottom cut a leaf shape.

Step 2: To make an 8-petal flower – fold a small cupcake paper in half 3 times, and with the folded point at the bottom cut around the top.

Step 3:  To make a 16-petal flower – fold a large cupcake paper in half 4 times, and with the folded point at the bottom cut around the top.

Step 4:  Cut a small X in the center of each paper.

Step 5:  Layer cupcake papers onto each lightbulb to make flowers

and that's it! The finished product, Pretty Flower cupcake lights

Prettify Me: Halloween Nail Art

What better way to match a Halloween Costume/outifit but a themed nail art. Prettify yourself for Halloween with a spider-web nail art. All you need is a Black and Orange Nail Polish and a creative mind for the spooky outfit:)

Step One: Apply a Base coat followed by your Orange Polish

Step Two: Create the French Tip
Using black acrylic crafting paint and a toothpick (or brush if you prefer!), create an outline for a french tip. Then, fill in the tip with black nail polish.

Step Three: Start Your Lines

Next, using black acrylic paint, make five lines down the nail, all meeting at the middle of the tip.

Step Four: Add Intersecting Curves

Using the black craft paint again, create thin curves connecting each line. Apply a top coat and you're done!
