What You'll Need:
• Paper lanterns
• Fabric scraps
• Acrylic Paint
• Mod Podge/ Paper Glue
• Paint Brushes
• Ribbons, lace, or other trimmings

| Step One: Paint your paper lantern Prepare your paper lantern by expanding it into a globe shape using the wire insert and paint it using acrylic paints. Take care not to press too hard with the paintbrush or to use paint that is too watered down because it may tear the tissue of your lantern. Use the horizontal wires as guidelines to paint blocks of color and stripes on the lanterns, but anything goes so feel free to splatter and swirl to your heart’s content! If you are feeling especially adventurous you could even try painting the inside so it shows through to the outside. |

Step Two: Add your fabric pieces
Cut your fabric into pieces that you would like to add to your lantern. This lantern had fabric with a rose pattern that was left over from another project. If your fabric is more ‘abstract’ you could cut the fabric into shapes such as polka dots, stripes or even chevron (how cute would that be?!). You can also use paper for this step, but it works best with a very thin tissue-like paper otherwise the paper tends to be too stiff and will stand away from the surface of your paper lantern.
Once you have everything cut out, coat the back of each piece with mod podge (or glue) and press it gently onto your lantern. You may also want to add a thin coat of mod podge over the front of each piece to keep all of the edges pressed nicely against the lantern. Keep gluing until all of your fabric pieces have a home on your lanterns or until all of your fingers are glued together.

Step Three: Embellish and trim
The final step is to add a tassel and other embellishments. Tie ribbons and lace to the bottom of your lantern so the wind has something to dance with. I tied ribbons directly onto the wire frame, but you could also suspend them farther down by tying them to fishing line. Add a single strand of small silk flowers if you are feeling romantic. If you are feeling fancy, glue a strip of sequins around your lantern or sprinkle lines of glue with glitter. Or some colored beads or tiny trinkets. Allow your fingers to thread little treasures onto your lanterns until that moment when you look at them and feel yourself smile… then you are done!

| Patterned Eggs: These eggs are made using rubber brands. Add a couple rubber bands - as securely as possible - to each egg and add to the colored dye of your choice. Remove from the dye and leave to dry. Once completely dry, remove the rubber bands to reveal your pattern. |

| Flowery Easter Eggs: Add a dab of all-purpose glue to paper flowers and secure to the egg. |
 What You'll Need: Eggs Black and White Paints (Matte) Rhinestone Stickers |
| Polka Dot Easter Eggs: Paint your eggs using black and white matte paint. Once completely dry, add rhinestone stickers to each egg in a regular pattern. |
 What You'll Need: Eggs Glitters Resealable Plastic Bag Glue Tape |
| Golden Easter Eggs: To make the glittery eggs, add gold glitter to a resealable plastic bag. Add an even layer of all-purpose glue to the surface of an egg and add to the bag. Securely close and shake the bag making sure the glitter evenly coats the egg. Remove excess and set to dry. For the other golden eggs, simply cover the surface of an egg using patterned tape. |

| Cut 2 sets of 15 strands of Embroidery thread, with each strand measuring 4 times the length of the bracelet. Knot all the threads on the top, leaving 2 inches of slack. Sandwich each set between a bobby pin, this will help you easily weave the threads through the links of the bracelet. Lay the threads to the left of the bracelet. Pull the first color (coral) from under the first link and over the top of the left side. |

| Lay the second color (blue) over the first color (coral). Pull the second color (blue) from under the same link and over the top again. Repeat the steps, moving onto the new link: put the first color (coral) on the top of the second color (blue) and pull it out from under the 2nd link and over the top left. Lay the second color (blue) on top of the 1st color (coral) and pull it out from under the 2nd link and over the top left again. Because the links of this bracelet are large, you need to weave the threads twice in each link. But If the bracelet is smaller, once is enough :) |

| Repeat the steps until you reach the end of the bracelet. Finish it with a knot and trim the ends. And Here's the Finished Product. |
